I love the church because Christ loved her and gave himself up for her. He did this even when she was unlovely - dead in her trespasses and sins. The church is his bride and his body. It is in the church that the manifold wisdom of God is made known. I love the church because the glory of God is at stake in his redeeming this people. I was intrigued by the response from one of your readers about his or her church&#39;s ministry to the Pygmies. I have been concerned about that group of people since reading in my local newspaper 6 years ago that they were severely persecuted by others in Africa and that no church group of any kind had ever reached them with the good news of Christ. I&#39;m glad to discover that things are changing for the Pygmies. (At least a church is trying to share the message with them).<br /><br />Also, thanks for the new book!
